One more project finalized: Project Strengthening the regional cooperation to promote civic space in the Western Balkan countries

The project “Strengthening the regional cooperation to promote civic space in the Western Balkan countries” was successfully finalized in October 2022. 

This project's aim was to promote the results and achievements of previous successfully implemented actions of the project "CSOs networking for better local democracy in the Balkans", and widen the scope of modern participation tools for its constituencies. Also, this project is a demonstration of a firm and long-standing commitment to development of local democracy, good governance principles, and getting the EU integration closer to citizens in local communities across the Western Balkans.

During the project, BNLD successfully organized the Regional Capacity building and Networking seminar in Novi Sad in June 2022. We also created several interactive products to further develop and promote our network, such as the Interactive map, a local democracy quiz, a promotional video, and a promotional publication. 

The BNLD social media was busy with the 5 campaigns prepared during the project, which apart from the general promotion were dedicated to the youth engagement and good governance stories of each member, as well as the accountability principles adopted during the seminar in Novi Sad.
